Room was nice most staff were helpful

Breakfast was cold but chef did offer to make fresh for me but I had already eaten cold. Got bad info from 1 employee but good from most

Double room hasn’t kitchen inside only dining table and small fridge. Breakfast is poor and has only fried eggs, you may ask for scrambled eggs if available. Rooms and restaurant have insects and flies. Shower head in one bathroom is fixed and can’t control the water direction.

Close to shopping mall and market; staff was friendly and helpful. The SkyTrain will be coming there soon under construction. Also, the location of the hotel itself is good because it's in the plaza that contains lots of shopping, clothing stals and computer sales and repairs and even has a mini C and an ATM!!

I did not like the carpet in the hallways of the hotel they need to be changed or replace with the floors just like in the rooms. There was a safe in the room but it was not bolted down anyone can pick it up and go with it I imagine. There's not enough lights in the room and in the hallway as well.

It was super cheap for 7 days

Big spaceous, clean room. Very nice people help with accomodating and whatever question I had & the value for money 30-days stay, was BIG and breakfast very nice.

Very busy & crowded area, a little too much noise from the work and traffic in the streets for one that are use to live in the quiet countryside and I did missed a bar or something to do in the area at night after some weeks.

The rooms is big and spacious and very breathable, but compared to when we stayed here pre-covid the rooms are dated. The toilets are clean in the 2-bedroom apartment. The AC of our sitting room did not work ,called reception, they called engineering and they never was able to fix it so we gave up , the staff are not very well trained for hospitality, except one exceptional staff called licky who was the one receptionist that treated us so well. He is a huge reason we stayed here. The hotel is dated , far from city center. Pros and cons but now post covid was not worth it . This is my second booking of the same stay.

The two bedroom suite was spacious, nevertheless it was quite uncomfortable that one of the rooms had no windows at all. The in room dining offers good options for good price.

The location of the hotel is not the best, because it's far away from the center, and it takes a long time to find a taxi who is willing to take you in the center from there.

Room was Clean and the Staff very nice

The location is very bed too far from any place , just an example from downtown to the hotel no one taxi wanna carry on because is too far , the breakfast is very basic no choice , finally the hotel is only for Chinese coming for shopping in the mall near the hotel (and the prices there are not so cheap) so there is no swimming poll, no gym , nothing only the room so I spend too much for the value of the hotel

Good, efficient reception staff. Rooms are a good size including TV with excellent range of channels, fridge, kettle and really hot shower, good lighting and bedside power outlets. Reasonably priced room service menu. Very good breakfast, well managed by the catering staff. Next to local market, shopping centres, and food outlets. This is not the place to be if you want to be next to the tourist sites of central Bangkok but a great place to rest and relax about half an hour from BKK. Special thanks to Orakana who has excellent English and her colleague on reception who went out of their way to assist in finding my way to an appointment after I checked out, even taking the initiative to provide a printout of a map with the route marked and labelled in Thai for the taxi driver. Service definitely worth complimenting. Thank you

If you have meetings at NIDA, this should be one of the closest choices (and for relatively good price). Open market is located just in front of the hotel and updated shopping centre few minutes walk. The staff tried to be helpful. Room was realy nice, just bit out-to date

Aircon (as in all Thai hotels on this trip) - noisy and ineffective. Basic breakfast, not much choice.

The best place to stay in BANGKOK!!!! The staff are very friendly, for English speaking guests, it is the ideal place to stay. I trust you won't be disappointed. The staff will go an extra mile to make you feel comfortable.

To be honest, this place are meant for those whom love street food, simply shopping and gifts due to the located is abit remote to the city and other major hotspot of night market which are well known for, however, the hotel is very peaceful and very comfortable and warm welcoming by the staff whom are very very friendly and courteous. The room is very neat and tidy and the amenities are well maintained. An ideal place for those who wish to R&R are less travelling around. The housekeeping is very professional when makeup your room as they really made double checks for any missed area and also any faulty of room e.g bulb spoilt, toilet water heater, tv channel are engaged technical support to resolve the issue. The reception do speak fluent English and an additional foreign language to accommodate tourist preferences. Very good and well done to all staff in The Pantip Hotel.

And advise to travellers whom are Muslim , do note that it’s very hard to find halal as I’m myself are having a little hard time find food, as for the hotel breakfast, upon entering level 6 where the dining areas for breakfast, the Pantip hotel staff do made a separate room for halal and non halal eaters, so look out the signage says halal and/or just ask the hotel staff for “Muslim” food as they will direct you to the correct room. The food variety may not be as much as the non halal, however, its does help to keep you full till afternoon.
